A Family Tradition
At the beginning of 2016 Stefano Ruggero, hailing from Veneto, in love with Tuscany, opened “Il Ceppo Toscano” in a Convent of XII sec. inside the magical setting of San Gimignano.
Second-generation butcher, Ruggero, well known the quality of organic farms, the importance of animal feeding and the respect of its habitat: these are the essential elements to obtain a good raw material.
Our menu offers typical Tuscan courses, a selection of various cuts of of cooked and raw meats, without forgetting our special Josper oven or charcoal grill oven.
